This policy explains what information we collect about you, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. Read it together with our Terms and Conditions.
2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you place an order: full name, email, phone, delivery address (city, street, house number, floor, postal code, country), and order contents.
For international orders only: national ID or passport number. Customs authorities require this to clear the shipment. We use it for nothing else.
When you contact us: name, contact details and the content of your message, including WhatsApp and email correspondence.
When you sign up for marketing: email address and/or phone number.
Providing this information is not a legal obligation. Without the fields marked as required at checkout we cannot complete and ship your order. Any field not marked as required is optional.
2.2 Information collected automatically
IP address, device type and model, operating system and browser, interface language, pages viewed and time spent, referral source, and on-site actions such as product views, add-to-cart and purchase. This is collected through cookies and tracking technologies, as detailed in section 5.
2.3 Information from third parties
From our payment processor: approval or decline, the last four digits of the card and the card type. We never receive or store your full card number.
From our shipping carriers: shipment and delivery status.
From advertising platforms: aggregate campaign performance data.

4. Direct marketing — email, SMS, WhatsApp and calls
We send marketing messages only if you gave explicit consent, or if you gave us your details during a purchase and did not opt out.
Every marketing message we send will include: the word "advertisement" at the start of the message or in the subject line, our name and contact details, and how to opt out of further messages.
To opt out: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, reply "STOP" to the number the SMS came from, or contact us at hello@tanahiyot.com. We process the request within 3 business days at most.
Phone calls: before making a marketing call we check whether the number is listed in the "Do Not Call" registry of the Israeli Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Authority, and we do not call numbers listed there. Calls about an existing order, a shipment, or a query you sent us are not marketing calls.
Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about an existing order — order confirmation, shipping updates, or contact about a return.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
A cookie is a small file stored in your browser. We also use pixels and tags that report your on-site actions to third parties.

As of the date of this policy, analytics and marketing cookies load when you enter the site. We are in the process of implementing a consent mechanism that will let you choose in advance which cookies load, and this policy will be updated when that is complete.
Until then, you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and manage your advertising preferences directly with Google and Meta in your account settings with them.
Some of these tools, chiefly the Meta Pixel, send the platform operator information about your activity on our site, and sometimes an email address in hashed form, for ad targeting and performance measurement. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers acting for us, and only as needed:

Details printed on your shipment
The recipient's name, address and phone number are printed on the shipping label and passed to the carrier, because the package cannot be delivered without them. International shipments also carry a commercial invoice required by customs authorities.
We will also disclose information where required by law or court order, to defend our rights in legal proceedings, or in the event of a sale or merger of the business — in which case the acquirer will be bound by this policy.
7. Transfers outside Israel
Some of our service providers operate outside Israel, mainly in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we act to ensure the transfer complies with the Israeli Privacy Protection Regulations on transfers of data to databases abroad.

At the end of the period the data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
- Access — receive from us the information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- Deletion — ask us to delete information. We will, except where we are legally required to retain it, mainly transaction records for tax purposes.
- Opt out of marketing — at any time, without giving a reason, free of charge.

10. Information security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/SSL) behind a Cloudflare protection layer. Card details are entered and processed directly by the payment processor under the PCI DSS standard, and are not stored by us. Access to information is limited to a small number of authorised people. We cannot guarantee complete immunity from intrusion, but we take reasonable and accepted measures to protect the information.
11. Minors
This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about minors. If you become aware that a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other sites
Our site may contain links to third-party sites and services. We have no control over them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with an update date. If we make a material change concerning the use of your information, we will notify you by email or with a prominent notice on the site.
